Hosted by the SoPo Bike-Ped Committee with assistance from SoPo Land Trust, this is a collaborative community effort to raise awareness about safe and respectful use of the Greenbelt Trail in South Portland, including:

-Temporary “Share the Path” signs at high-speed areas (e.g., near Domino’s and Wainwright)
-Volunteers in bright green vests along the trail to promote safety and visibility
-Information table at Mill Creek Park, engaging directly with trail users
-Topics include: Trail etiquette and signaling when passing, helmet and seatbelt safety, tips for sharing the trail with walkers, cyclists, wheelchair users, and more..
