Brooks to Bay Flyer

Wednesday, April 26, 2017, 5:30PM

From Brooks to Bay Streams Forum

South Portland High School Auditorium

The South Portland Land Trust will be participating in this event organized by the South Portland Conservation Commission. Come visit our information table before the forum starts at 6:30!

This event is an opportunity to learn more about the streams and brooks in our city and what we can do to help protect and restore them. Join area environmental and civic organizations to learn more about the challenges and opportunities for our shared water resources and their relationship to the health of Casco Bay.

Doors open at 5:30 with access to information tables and demonstrations of various water quality considerations. The forum begins at 6:30 with brief presentations by a panel of environmental professionals dedicated to protecting water resources, followed by questions from attendees.

There will also be a raffle from local area businesses and sign-ups for field trips to visit our streams and learn how you can help. This free, informative program is made possible by a grant from the Casco Bay Estuary Partnership.
